◦ The Rattle ◦

Percussion is important to many traditional cultures and across the world they are almost always noted in ceremony in some form. It's believed that the first instruments of humanity were percussion, and I like to think the inspiration stemmed from the beat of our own hearts. 
 
A rattle is a great addition to our toolkit and although generally used for breaking up heavy energy, communication, tracking and calling Spirit close, each have their distinct qualities. My process for these begins with a consultation to determine the intentions and elements of the rattle. We consider different woods, animal allies, minerals that make up the rattle as well as adornments like shells, feathers, crystals and symbols. 
 
I source every aspect specifically, then help you choose a window of time, allowing for full and new moon rattles, solstice pieces and other alignments which might be important.
