â—¦ Adventures & Experience â—¦
I've been reading oracle cards for over 18 years and tarot for around 8, I also read the I-ching and botanicals. I've had a strong natural affinity with animals and special dreams all my life. In my late teens friends would sometimes call me Dora, after the cartoon explorer - because I was always trying to get everyone out into nature.

I have received several empowerments from the different Buddhist traditions, including the Medicine Buddha, Guru Rinpoche and water blessing transmissions. I received my personal Sak Yant in the traditional way from Master Ajarn Rung (not the one on Facebook). I was permanently changed by my time in Cambodia & Thailand, and I remain fascinated by these cultures' Buddhist, ancient Shamanic and Animistic practices.

I'm most familiar with the medicine wheel of the Peruvian Andes. I've studied directly with Qéro wisdom keepers, I carry a mesa, and I've received initiations and rites from the jungle, coast, north and high Andes, as well as the blessing and encouragement to work with and pass them along from multiple lineages. I'm inspired by many in this part of the world, but especially amazed by the ancient and exact wisdom of the Andes and Amazon.

I started playing the drum when I was about 9 and despite not being able to read music, I have always had an ear for it and found myself in bands and later playing DJ. I brought my first drum into the world 6 years ago and in the time since as I apprenticed deeply, people began asking me to bring their drums to life and all the physical tools needed to do this work to a high standard, were suddenly and auspiciously received from ancestors long passed.

I've been asked to work with people seeking healing from circumstances ranging from a niggling cough to cancer. The results at times have been nothing short of miraculous,
Many years later I am now a conscious continuation of several spiritual lineages. Most real wisdom I've found doesn't come with a certificate but I like to understand things well and from different perspectives so I've also completed over fifty related courses including two years with Sonia Choquette, three diplomas in hypnotherapy, two in ancient Egyptian and shamanic practices, and a range of others whose themes are mostly around sound, mindfulness, shadow work, meditation, trauma and healing. The single person who has contributed most broadly to my personal journey of transformation is Master Thich Nhat Hanh but in truth, I've been encouraged, held, remembered and inspired by so many individuals, cultures, teachings and traditions that I can't possibly mention them all here.

The final thing I would like to use this space for as an Australian, is to offer an Acknowledgement of Country and the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, recognising their connections to land, sea, spirit and community, and paying respect to Elders past, present and future, to all Aboriginal people across time.
